Ceiling bed hoists and bath lifts may need to be installed to help the patient in and out of bed or the bath etc. The financial burden is made worse when one has to pay for the annual service inspection of such items
Many people assume once these medical devices aids have been purchased they are on the home straight so to speak. Stairlifts and electric lifting hoists should be serviced at least annual and the outlay of such maintenance work can be exorbitant to say the least.
One would be thrifty to enquire about the service maintenance costs before they buy any type of assistive medical devices
