This article is only for people who are serious in building their business.

What will you do when your natural market goes dry? Who are you going to sponsor so as to expand your business?

It has got to be from the outside of your warm list right? For any business to grow, you need to have new customers, whether they are MLM/Network marketing or not.

There are a lot of leaders (up lines) telling their people that they must do things that are duplicable. What does it means? It means something that can be copy easily.

You and I know that to be successful in this business, you need to be a leader. So, let me ask you question. Is it easier to be a leader or is it easier to learn cold calling? Which is easier to duplicate?

Also, before you are a leader, you need to have a team of people to guide in order to be a leader right? So, the key thing is still sponsoring as many people as possible into your organisation first, at the same time, commit to your personal growth every day (so that you can guide your people when your organisation grow).

I personally feel that cold calling is still workable in network marketing. Imagine when your list has dried out and you do not have many people to approach. The fastest, easiest and duplicable way to do is cold calling.

Even if you are able to get leads from the internet. It will take times. First, you need times to build your contents so as to attract traffic to your websites (if you do not have the budget to advertise).

On the internet, you need to first connect with the cold leads by sending emails to them frequently to build rapports and add value to them before you could actually sponsor them.

Don't get me wrong, I am not asking you to forgo from getting leads on the internet if you are presently doing so. But, before you could get a lot of leads from the internet, traditional cold calling enable you to connect and build rapport with prospect straight away.

For internet, when the leads are ready to be sponsored, you still need to use the telephone to connect with them before sponsoring them. That is why be able to connect and communicate with people is a very critical skill to determine whether you are able to have many sponsors.

(More people = higher chances of getting more leaders = growth in your business.)

So, whether or not internet or traditional cold calling, you still need to communicate with people, then, isn't it make sense to polish the skill of cold calling (basically connect and communicating with strangers).

Trust me, when you know how to do it, your business will definitely grow.

Cold calling is like any techniques; it can be learned and acquired.


You need to remember the following points to achieve higher success rate:

1 You need to have the right mentality of cold call. Do not expect striking gold every times. Think about this, do you always get a "Yes" even with your warm leads?
2 You need to have strong conviction of what you are doing
3 This is very important; follow up with the cold call leads is the very key to success in cold calling. Follow up with your cold call leads very closely, but do not irritate them.
