Technology has been improved a lot along the ages. The success of the latest music players over the olden days gramophones lies in its ability to interpret even the lowest music and give the exact feel of the music. This is done by connecting the main speaker to components like the woofers. This article will give you an idea of how to wire dual subwoofers.

The process is very simple and easily followable. The process will obviously require woofers. The amplifier will be connected to the subwoofers using speaker wires. The following paragraphs will discuss on the steps involved in this process.

The first step is to check the impedance of the sub woofer. They come in many ranges of resistances or impedance. Four ohm and two ohm are the most common ranges available. This sub woofer may also be of dual voice coil they don have variations that are unusual. The very common type of sub woofer under using is the four ohm range. And so the plans for wiring are all designed so as to match this kind of sub woofer.

The woofer can be placed either in the cargo area at the rear back or the car's trunk in the case of models like hatch backs or SUV .There are channels in the amplifiers. Then the amplifier position is located after which the manual is gone through for any kind of procedure to be followed.. To these channels the wire from the sub woofer is connected. The ends of these wires are stripped by an inch.

There are many types of terminals available in an amplifier. The most common type of the amplifier terminal is the"push" terminal. In this type for making a connection you have to press a lever and pass the wire through the hole that appears.

Single channeled amplifiers are also available. "Daisy- chaining" method is used for the connections of amplifiers which have a single channel. In this case the positive of the both the subwoofers are connected to the amplifier's positive . These terminals are connected through two different wires from the amplifier. Next the negative connections are made. The same procedure is followed to connect the negatives.

Now are woofers are connected.it should be noted that if the negatives and positives are mis- connected or not . These mis-connections will bring down the quality and the output of the music, because it disturbs the set up of the subwoofers. Thus it may result in malfunctioning of the woofer set. This will surely bring down the effects of the music. Subwoofers connected to dual or single channeled amplifier will not make much difference in the sound quality and music interpretations.

By following these simple easy to follow steps you can get a good quality sound output from your car`s audio system. After wiring a dual sub woofer you can hear even a very low bass sound.
