Create a Blood Pumping Bass In A Vehicle Stereo

There are few tools required for accomplishment of a car stereo handling task. The usage of such tools will reduce the man power required and makes it easy. One such tool is the crimping tool. Tools have always been one of the major contribution to new kind of car stereo handling process. This will definitely help in the easy handling and usage of wires. The traditional crimping tool is the mechanical type of tool which requires human manipulations and proper handling as it quiet difficult to use without proper knowledge. Mechanical crimping tool has one draw back of difficulty in handling as it cannot deal with thick or rigid kind of wires. This dis advantage can be over come by using a electrical crimping tool. But using this tool without proper knowledge about its handling and operations may lead to disasters to the person handling it. Anything which is connected to electricity must be handled with care. The major things required for the usage is electrical tapes, crimping tool, crimp connectors and wires of course.

The battery of the car is disconnected till the installation is done. The negative terminal cable is removed from the terminal. A screwdriver or an appropriate wrench can be used to loosen it. A ring terminal is attached between the power cable and positive terminal of the battery. The cable for power supply is routed between the compartment where engine is kept and the vehicle's inner cabin. There is generally an aperture for the wire but if there is no such facility a hole can be drilled and use a grommet for protection.

From the end of the wire the insulation is stripped off. The exposed ends are elongated a little bit than the metal portion so as to enhance a connection with the crimp connector. the wires are crushed with a finger to make it straight so that it goes into the connector properly and gets connected firmly. This will make the process of insertion easier.

Then, the cable for the signal and the lead for turn-on are connected to the harness adapter. The lead for turn-on is present in any wiring kit. These two cables are then touted to the vehicle's floor through the rear part of the stereo. The carpets can be lifted using some tools for removing it. The cables can then be passed through the floor carpeting to the battery. It is advisable to do in opposite directions in order to minimise the interference.

The line out converter is successfully installed . We now need to understand what is the function of this. This LOC eliminates the need for replacement of head unit of factory as it enables the connection of RCA cables with our amplifier. For safety purposes grounding should be done. So locate a bolt made of metal. Connection is made between ground wire of the amplifier and metal bolt.

There is one optional thing which can be done that is provide proper insulation by wrapping the connections fully with an electrical tape. This is for providing a safer working and handling environment. Before cutting the wire just leave some more extra wire to use it when a proper crimp is not done. The wire ends are to be handled properly or else the ends may cause holes or it may hurt your finger.
